What is Reiki?

Reiki is the practice of channeling Divine or Universal Life Force energy for the purpose of healing.* It can do no harm. Reiki promotes healing on all levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Reiki aids in healing the causes of illness as well as the symptoms. The Divine energy goes where it is needed most, regardless of the request of the receiver or the practitioner. Reiki is often used in distance healing. As a non-invasive treatment, Reiki provides the necessary energy to aid clients in healing.

What is a Reiki Treatment?

Reiki has been used for many types of healing. It is a non-invasive, holistic approach. The client is fully clothed and lies or sits in a comfortable position. The practitioner works with the auric layers of the chakras to bring them into balance and harmony by shifting or moving energy. The greatest benefit of a treatment is that the client receives healing energy for all levels of the self: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

Why have a Reiki Treatment?

Reap the benefits of healing through balance and wholeness. It is a system used to aid in healing all manner of issues: diseases, pain, anxiety, depression, lack of concentration, past life issues, communication blocks with Divine guidance, and much more.

Reiki is not connected with a particular religion, but it is very spiritual and comforting.

Reiki Levels taught by Briana

Level One - Basic

The most important part of level one is for students to learn about their individual energies. To learn what it feels like when it flows properly, when there is a block, when to change positions, when you are finished with a treatment, etc.

Level Two - Advanced

This is about working on others. If the student is interested in becoming a practitioner, level two is essential. In this level, students learn about energy blockages, hand positions for use on other people, the Reiki symbols, the four levels of healing (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual,) working with guides, how to clear a past life issue, etc.

Level Three - Master

The purpose of the Master Level is to increase the vibrational level of the practitioner to allow them to work with more powerful guides and to handle serious issues such as terminal illness and the dying/transition process. It is preferred that students have at least 200 hours of working with the energy before requesting the Master Level attunement. This is a longer process, has more responsibility attached to it, and has quite an impact on a student's life.

Level Four - Master Teacher

This level very simply is for anyone who wants to teach Reiki to others.

Attunements

Attunements are done at the end of each level successfully completed.

A Reiki attunement is something similar to tuning an instrument. We all have energy fields or auras, within which we have energy centers called chakras. If you envision the aura as a many-layered blanket wrapped around you, then chakras are like energy windows or vortexes where we can send and receive energy.

We all operate on different vibrational levels, and we all have our own energy "baggage" to deal with. In an attunement, a person's aura is cleansed of as much baggage as he/she is ready to give up. The chakras are balanced and the person's vibrational level is adjusted to accept the Reiki energy. In most cases, the Reiki energy is of a higher vibrational level than most people work with on a day-to-day basis. At each Reiki level, a person's vibrations are raised to accept the increasing levels of energy, the different types of energy, and the information being channeled.
